It started as your average sculpture piece: on a stand. However, during the opening, I reached into the display to take one of the hearts and began to toss it back and forth with a partner, increasing the speed, until one of us dropped it. Falling to my knees, I picked up the pieces, took a step, and dropped it again. This continued until I had made my way back to the original stand, replacing the once whole heart with the shards in my hands.
